Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream
Cold creams are mostly used to moisturize skin and ensure that it remains soft but they may also be used to remove makeup, as a sunburn reliever, a facemask or a face wash. Cold creams typically give a cooling feeling when applied and have been in use in one form or another for many centuries.
The Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream sets itself apart mainly due to the use of natural rose extract as part of its formulation; the rose extract apparently helps maintain moisture balance according to Dabur. They also claim that this cold cream protects your skin from damage and gives you a radiant glow.
The cream itself is slightly pinkish in tinge and will come across as somewhat thicker than other cold creams you may have used. The biggest draw of course is the lovely rose scent the rose oil and natural rose extract perfume provide for the Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream.
A full list of ingredients is given further below, however, we felt it pertinent to point out that the Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream contains parabens. While most research disproves the widely spread notion that parabens (a common preservative in many cosmetic and beauty products) cause breast cancer, it is ultimately up to the customer to make up their own minds. We recommend viewing the relevant information made available by the American Cancer Society with regards to cancer and the risk associated with using products containing parabens.
Why use Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream?
The obvious answer to this is the fragrance; whether you use it on your face, your hands or your body, the Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream leaves a wonderfully sweet and fragrant smell that should lasts for some time. However, it works very well at moisturizing and retaining moisture and this should help people with naturally dry skin.
It is primarily for use in winters but you can use it on your hands or feet to keep them soft and smelling great throughout the year. Another obvious use is as a makeup remover instead of buying a separate product or wipes specifically for that purpose.
The Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream with Natural Rose Extract has a wonderful fragrance. It moisturizes and keeps your skin soft. Great as a sunburn reliever and for use as a makeup remover.
This cold cream comes in a tub like jar, this means that you will most likely have to scoop it out with your fingers which is obviously unhygienic for a product that will be on your shelf for a few months. Althought the Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream with Natural Rose Extract is great at moisturizing your skin, the downside is that it is unsuitable for people with naturally oily skin.
This product contains mineral oil and would not be suitable for people that find it does not work for them or dislike mineral oil in general.
Considering the low price and that it can be used as a general purpose moisturizer, makeup remover and has an amazing fragrance, the Dabur Gulabari Moisturizing Cold Cream with Natural Rose Extract seems to be a great product. If you are comfortable with using products containing parabens and mineral oil, we definitely recommend trying it out.
